Don't hate. Coordinate.

I was thinking about my cards and my boxed sets. While I'm happy with them, I was wondering if there was a way to make them more melissaheady. I choose paper patters and designs that I love, but it's still someone else's design. Then again, getting my own papers printed isn't really an affordable option at this time.

But I'm going to try it out. After some discussions with my printer, offset isn't going to be an option, so I'm going to look into the most cost effective way to print them digitally.

I came up with these four designs, which coordinate with my gift tags. And I can design some other things that are matchy matchy. But it might be a good start.

I'd love to hear what you think!!!

Hey Melissa,

Shop around for printers on this! Better yet, here's an idea, see if you can somehow partner up with the printer such that you can design something very similar for them to use exclusively in exchange for either a break on the printing or heck, see if they'd invest in you fully if you agree to put their name on the back or something like that. Nothing that would be too intrusive on your design, of course, just Printed by XYZ Printing, 800-888-8888.

It would at least be worth talking to them about...what's the worst that could happen? They say no and you go make a splash with another more forward-thinking printer?

And I'm telling you, if you want these to really go somewhere, start knocking on the doors of some independent bookstores and uber-artsy crafty-ish places. I'm sure Philly must be chock full of them. I'm tellin' ya, that's where your market is!

Gorgeous! These designs make such a great set! I reckon totally go for it re getting them printed. You could always try and sell a portion of it as wrapping paper too - I've always wanted to do that :)
