There's no such thing as too many bags.

However my closet space would like to disagree.

I did a good job of organizing my closet last night after installing a few more shelves. It feels roomy. All of my things are in order. There's space to stand and possibly even lie down if I really wanted to, which I might. But I think I'm in need of more bins/containers! I don't know where to put my scarves and hats. I bought bins for the hall closet for my winter scarves and hats, but I don't think I want my fashion items mingling with my functional items.

Here are my hall closet bins, from Home Depot:

So, do I get more for my closet? Or is there a better way to store those?

Another issue I'm dealing with is what to do with all my bags. I kind of wish I had hooks for them, but I think that'll take up too much room. Do I get a bin for those too? How do you ladies organize your bags?

I LOVE those bins! I would just get more of those unless they're too expensive. I have a similar bag issue - have no idea what to do with them. I used to keep my smaller ones (with long shoulder straps) slung on a coat hanger in my closet, but now with all the ones I have amassed I have them in a laundry basket on the floor of my closet.

btw, your house/paint job is looking really good :)

I use a freestanding coatrack (from Hobby Lobby, maybe?) for all my purses. I organized them and hung them by season, and put the thing in the corner of our guest bedroom. Every season, I just turn it, so the current seasons are exposed, and the other ones are tucked in the corner. It does a pretty good job of holding most of them, and I can always see what I have!

Not the best thing, but those giant zip-locs really are handy for some things!!!

Ooh I have this problem too. Ive started keeping the 10 or so I use often on a long row of hook by my front doors, and the rest I keep in suitcase. Its not super easy to access them, but purses are hard to store. I also put one with good handles on a hanger, like 3 or 4 of them.

I have one of the california closet type setups in my closet so all my bags lay on one of the shelves in a pile. I recently saw these over-the-door purse racks at Bed Bath and Beyond (http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=14181504) Won't work for me b/c I have sliding mirror doors, but it sounds like these might work for you?
